Welcome to our classroom website!

Volunteers needed for Colonial Day!!! We are short on costumes this year for Colonial Day and need some parents that know how to sew to help make our day a success! Colonial Day will be this July, but we want to give you plenty of time to work with. If you could help sew a few outfits, please let us know ASAP. All supplies will be provided.

Homework for the week of March 7th

For this week you will do:
1.  The Reading Log
2.  The Vocabulary Assignment
3.  Complete your final draft of your response to literature if you have not done so
4.  Writing Assignment (Directions Below)

Writing Assignment Directions:  Heroes and sages are not only in books and movies!  Heroes and sages are living among us this very moment!  Who in your life has played a heroic or sage-like role?  Do you have a grandparent or parent who teaches you important life lessons?  Has your life been touched by an act of heroism?
Write at least three paragraphs about a sage or elder in your life.  Introduce them and explain why and how they play this role.
If you do not have a sage or hero in your life, ask someone about one in their life and interview them about their experience.  Write about this person's hero or sage.
